"Newhaven to Dieppe"

I travelled to Dieppe from Newhaven, and I must say the loading in Newhaven was efficient,. however the disembarkation was painfully slow, whereas in Dieppe it was speedy both ways. As for the ships , they were very good. Dieppe port was very clean , where as Newhaven is an embarrassing. It is very old and derelict looking. Needs money spent on it. Not a good advert for people arriving in this country for the first time.

The organisation by the loading crew and the ships company was absolutely excellent.The cleanliness of the ship and the standard of the food was superb and the friendliness of all the staff was a credit to the company. This includes both ships on our journey out and our return.
