Wales is part of the United Kingdom and the British Isles, bordered by England to the east.

Although a relatively small country, Wales is packed with significant attractions from its three national parks and five ‘Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ to the third highest peak in Britain and some outstanding beaches; Wales has something to suit all visitors.

As a nation with vast, rolling plains, it boasts an impressive network of excellent hiking trails that take you past some of the country’s 400 castles, many cheerful pubs and stunning coastal views.

Wales reviews

  • "excellent check in, punctual, fast, friendly"

but the way they made chicken into quite such a hard tasteless lump was quite special. Take your own food, otherwise spot on.

  • "Great services start to finish"

I travel by ferry 5 or 6 times a year and alway use direct ferries to book my journey. The booking is simple and straight forward and fairly priced. I tend to go for a fast crossing where possible and take a car on all occasions. Boarding and disembarking is usually quick and the service on board is great. Staff are pleasant and helpful and the vessel is well kept.

  • "Ferry!"

Could have done without the super sarcastic check-in guy in Dublin who gave me grief for not having my reference number to hand when I drove up. It took him all of 2 seconds to look up my name and car registration on his list but he chastised me anyway. Otherwise, great experience, easy on/off, comfortable ship with free wifi and lots of amenities.

I booked with directferries i thought they did a good job from start to finish and would use them again and i recommend them to everybody. On board with Irish Ferries was very pleasant.
