What is there to do in Victoria?

A wave of outdoor activities and endless cycle routes make Victoria one of the best cities to traverse on two wheels; a gorgeous park laying adjacent to the colourful seafront is a mecca of good health and good feeling, especially in the summer when the area is drenched in young people, couples and families enjoying the glorious sunshine. The wealth of verdant foliage and picturesque scenery promote a vibrant energy throughout the city, and to continue in the world of wonderful aesthetics, the charming downtown area is emblazoned with stunning architecture, most noticeably the heritage buildings which engulf the skyline. Some of the landmarks are designed purely to admire outwardly, but other cultural edifices welcome visitors to explore the walls and structures from within; The Royal British Columbia Museum showcases the history associated with the region, and for something a little off the beaten track, Victoria Bug Zoo and Victoria Butterfly Gardens are the perfect settings for a day out with the family. For public transport, there is a reliable bus service in operation around the city, however, the more active may choose to travel by foot or bicycle around the stunning surroundings.
