Oarsman Bay Lodge Guide

Oarsman Bay Lodge Ferry Port

Oarsman Bay Lodge is part of the Yasawa Island Group, laying to the northeast of mainland Fiji. The only ferry route from the port is to Denarau on the east coast of Fiji, with the daily 4 hour 45 minute crossing providing the gateway to the mainland.

What is there to do in Oarsman Bay Lodge?

Glorious beaches, glistening sunshine and warm, welcoming locals make Oarsman Bay Lodge the perfect holiday destination for couples looking for a romantic getaway in a tranquil environment. The golden sands next to azure waters may seem like the best place to while away the stress whilst basking in the sun, or the exciting excursions such as kayaking or snorkelling can prove too alluring – either way – the surroundings provide the most idyllic location for any type of traveller. For a combination of stunning views and myriad of water sport adventures, hop on one of the boat tours that sail around the island group. Witness the breathtaking views of the postcard picture islands whilst swimming or snorkelling in the beautiful ocean; there aren’t many better ways to spend a few hours. After a day exploring the landscape, indulge in Fijian culture by sampling the delicious cuisine, typically serving sea food fresh from the waters.

What accommodation is available?

The abundance and variety of accommodation is what makes the lodge so popular; there are several types of rooms available, spanning from dormitories to deluxe private bedrooms for couples. For a truly shipwrecked experience, immerse yourself in nature by staying alone on the 4 acres of beautiful terrain.
