Montenegro reviews

  • "Friendly onboard service"

Boarding in Bari wasn’t very clear. Once aboard everything g ran smoothly especially traveling with young children. Would be good to have more food options.

  • "Basic but clean Jadrolinija Ferry let down by DirectFerries and the check-in process"

Firstly the direct ferries website is sufficiently complicated that, even though I had searched on a crossing from Bari (Italy) to Dubrovnik (Croatia), it directed me to a sailing between Bari and Bar (Montenegro) without anything clearly stating the difference in destination!!! As a result, I would NEVER use Direct Ferries again to book. Then Direct Ferries documentation directs you to the boarding place for Jadrolinija and not the ticket office (2km away) and so a VERY convoluted check-in and boarding process. However, once onboard, the ferry was basic but clean with very accommodating and helpful staff. Thumbs up for ferry experience and double thumbs down for ticket booking and check in!

  • "Better than expected"

Lovely way to cross the Adriatic Sea. We slept well in the cabin. Everything was clean. Staff ‘old hands’ at the job.
